As per title how can I tell what version of Vix/bootloader in used ?.
And can I backup the bootloader and vix before trying to upgrade?.
Also anybody know if there is a way of playing 'http://yify-streaming.com/' to the box ?

Menu -> Information -> About will tell you the build & number.
Bootloaders can be found here: http://www.openvix.co.uk/index.php?dir=Bootloaders/Technomate-Bootloaders/TM-TWIN-OE/ if you need to update it? When was it last done?

The only way to find out the bootloader on the TMs is to get serial logs. As they are backwards compatible, might as well as just flash the latest one.

thank you, the build no. is 808 number 3, its a good image but i sometimes try and play downloaded movies (for example yify movies) which give codec not found messages, and im interested in trying out streaming but cant get tsmedia or kodi etc to work and plugin downloads dont work. So thinking of trying a newer image but want to make sure I can go back if it goes tits up.

808 is over a year old now. You'd be better getting latest loader and picking up the latest apollo image and fresh flashing it. then you'll be up to date and have access to the feeds etc.
