can i use sly card in my vu or has it changed ?

can someone give me a definitive answer to using my sly card in my vu solo 2 ,i have heard it can not be done now .the vu is much better a box than the sly box .

ok the card i want to use is out of my wifes box ,it was pared but i have purchased a second hand box and it is working in there [recordings as well ]
