Memory on HD2400

Just bought one and was having a look at its shell.
Grepping the /proc/meminfo, it shows me:

MemTotal: 1286484 kB

Shouldn't that be 2GB?

Every OS that I use reports wrong HD size for all sorts of reasons, nothing to worry about.

Oh, I think you got i wrong, I am talking about memory (RAM) and not disk space :)

Every OS will reserve some RAM too.
