I've had an ET9200 for about 3 years and have had absolutely no problems with it.

I want to use cable and sat now and the ET9200 doesn't have modular tuners so impossible with this box. I tried a USB DVB-C/T tuner but It was not recognized by several images or an OpenElec HTPC.

I've read a lot of reviews on this forum about the VU Duo2 but very few on the ET-10000??

Does anyone have the ET-10000? Reviews/feedback?

Really, which one is better?

I'm not sure if the faster processor makes that much difference but I tried viewing XBMC live streams on my ET9200 and it was painfully slow/stuttery. A "real" HTPC was night and day, plays live streams like butter. Those with a VU Duo2, can you watch XBMC live streams smoothly?

Thanks.

I'm bumping this thread.

I guess the Xtrend doesn't get any love outside of Deutschland.

The Mutant isn't really any cheaper if you have to buy a new HD (it will not take 3.5").

I like the loopthrough outputs on both the Xtrend and Mutants, convenient for me to update cards in orignal box..i.e. $ly Italia.

For the Duo2 or Mutant crowd, has anyone tried to play LIVE streams through XBMC on it? Like I said before I tried and try with my ET9200 and it's painfully slow/stutters. I'm wondering if the faster processor makes a big difference.

Thanks for any help.

Have you considered the LX3

Thanks for you reply NSW 1954,

But again, only 2 modular tuners...and really not cheaper than ET10000.

Thanks for everyones answers.

Maybe I'll just stick with my HTPC.

Thanks.
