Technomate Remote pre-purchase question

Hi there guys.

I've currently got a amiko shd8900 which i'm looking to sell, and then buy one of these for sky/cable preflashed with the Vix image.

Is the remote control re-mappable? i.e. can i use the up and down arrows to change the channel, and left+right arrows for volume control?

Or is this something that is customisable depending on image installed?

Thanks for the reply Sicilian. I'm not sure I understand though. There's no way to change the button functions on the remote that comes with this box?

Just to let you know know the remote has dedicated channel +/- buttons.

You can also customise the functions of what image does on button presses within the image by use of the Button Setup menu. (You are not reprogramming remote.) Default is to open current bouquet. You can change to zap if that is what you want.
