We dont currently have a image for this receiver, nor plans to support any other new Xtrend receivers at this time.

OpenATV or OpenXTA or OpenPLi ... none are as clean as ViX (although all work), and cetainly for my requirements need a lot of work to add facilities. Currently on OpenPli (bless their intellectual arrogance :) ), but will go back to XTA later today to test out a few features.
Do you have just the on board tuner or the additional plugin???? Also do you have a straight through connection from the LNB or a DiSEqC switch?
Just curious, if the latter might be able to give some advice via PM .
