Channel list

hi guys,

hope i am in the right section here... had my VU Duo for a while now and decided to change my image from BH to VIX :eek: last time i set up i used catseye motorised list 75e to 45w. now when i search in the plugins i cannot find it?!?!? can anyone advise how to get this list, or if there is a similar list available...

don't you have a backup of that list on your PC ? Use DBE to upload it. Or download the list from catseye and do the same upload to the box. http://catseyesettings.com/

thanks for your swift response... not of the channel list no mate, tbh didnt know you could back that up. i just backed up my cccam info. i am a bit of a novice to all this. i will look at the website you have provided and have a go. how do i upload to the box?

download dreamboxedit and install on your PC.Then import the list and FTP to box.
Ps: download is a RAR file.Needs to be unzipped first.

hi, i already have dreambox edit and vucc, i have downloaded and extracted it to my desktop, where do i import it to/transfer... which folder (if that makes sense)

I use Vhannibals motor settings via plugins. Then setup Autobouquetsmaker for UK.

thanks sicilian. i will try and manually do the catseye one first as thats what i had before, if i cannot figure it out i will go for that :-)

extract to example directory C:\settings .Then start DBE and open that directory.When list is viewable then goto FTP and set V on enigma2 an remove olde b.Then push send and DBE will do the rest for you.

hi, i have extracted it to my desktop, the opened DCC v2.96, connected to the router and box, then do i go to FTP on the tab on the left hand side? im stuck sorry

not DCC (dreambox control center) but DBE (dreamboxedit) is the channel list maker/sender/adapter. Do not know if you ftp it to the box with DCC to directory etc/enigma2 if it will work.

oh rite sorry... just tried to ftp all the folders from catseye download to the etc/enigma2 but didnt work! mite just use the vhannibal 1 for now. thanks

just extract the catseye file and ftp the files that are in catseye directory to etc/enigma2 .Then goto vhannellist and if necessairy restart box.The full list should be visible.

i have tried to download the vhannibal motor bouquets, seems to work fine, but i have no epg. if i press ok then the info bar says FROM BOUQUET "userbouquet.favourites.tv" does anyone know what i have done wrong? thanks

i have downloaded dreambox edit and imported the catseye list onto the database, what is next plz mate

just FTP list to box. File -> FTP to box. First choose options and make a profile with ipaddres of your box. If ok you should see reload fine otherwise restart GUi from box

i have just done that, run test connection and it connected to my box fine, the once the ftp has finished i get the message, sending reload command failed. see the log for more info.
reboot the dreambox by hand to activate the settings. so i manually restarted the box and still no list

error is normal.I have that sometimes to.Now you have to go in favorites list and choose the right bouquet.NOT favorites but other bouquets should show.

oh is it ok thanks. after tinkering for the last 30 mins i finally have channels on. is there no way of listing the fav's, like in my last setup, pr+ brought the list up you where in, you then pressed blue for the list of favourites, ie kids, sport, moves, hd etc, or you pressed green to choose satellite. thanks

any ideas why my screen picture is all fuzzy and seems to have a shadow behind it??? 39837 it is only doing this on sports???
