View Full Version : satellite.xml File
Where can I download the latest satellite.xml file for 28.2, 19.2 and 13e channels?
Where do I put the file in my Vu+ Duo and how do I use the file?
I keep losing channels when the channel frequency changes.

on vix 1.2 if you include 42east in the download it will show a green screen every time you try to go to it
you ftp it to tuxbox replacing the current satellite.xml file
the prblem with 42 east is a real mystery

Edit your satellites.xml file. Search for "Türksat" and rename it to "Turksat" then after transferring it back to the box do a reboot

Another question,
Am i correct in assuming the following sample line is a c band frequency and if so is it worth editing it and all the others out to speed up scanning times?
transponder frequency="3792000" symbol_rate="4340000" polarization="1" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="1"/>
Regards,
snapperoonie.
truthfully the time difference achieved by doing that would be negligible.
