View Full Version : missing picture
hi,
i just got my 3t box and set it up but noticed that the picture is bigger than my screen how do i adjust it to make it fit cant figure it out, during setup there was an option to resize the screen but all i got was a blinking white screen was hopeless to do it.
thanks
Google your TV make, model & the term OverScan.
If you can turn off overscan on your TV, do so.
Also, what image is installed on the box? If ViX:
Menu -> Setup -> System -> User interface -> Position setup, but only use this option if you can't disable Overscan on the TV.
thanks man, managed to sort it the way u said was using vix image.

Just remember though, if you do have overscan enabled on the TV you could be loosing as much as 5 to 6 inches of the viewable TV screen all around as the pixels are being stretched to fit the screen.
i cant figure out how to turn it off got a Samsung UE55HU6900
Just google the TV's make and model number along with the term overscan. That should give you enough hits to be able to disable overscan if it is possible on this model.

Looks like a decent TV, would be a pity not to disable overscan.
Have a look at:
http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/news/ue55hu6900-201405233782.htm
For: Overscanning on HDMI 0% with [Picture Size] set to “Screen Fit“
Has to be in one of your TV menus somewhere.
