Just bought a "good quality" ice scraper for the car was out early morning in the dark scraping away merrily when, unknowingly, the blade broke. When day came I found the windscreens scratched to hell & I'll have to replace it for safety reasons - £400 thankyou very much. So a small piece of advice don't use metal bladed scrapers & start every winter with a new plastic bladed one.
