its working thank u very much can I use a wireless -n dual band usb stick with the tm nano 3 I want to put it in the spare room iv just bought a net gear usb wirless dual band stick do I have to put the disck that I got with it in my lap top first to set it up could explain please im new to all of this

Sorry I dont use Wifi with any of my receivers so I am not familiar with the setup etc. I am however pleased you have resolved you'r RCU issues.

1. with regards to using your wifi adapter, you need to install the drivers if you are using OpenVix. Once you tell us what image you are using (name and number), we can assist.

I use the TPLINK ones and they work fine even mix and matching them with ebuyer value ones.

One think you need to be careful about is having the same standard.

These work well on the TM's, VU's, GB etc.. http://www.vuplus-shop.co.uk/WiFi-Adapter

On TM's install RTL8192cu drivers from plugins feeds. On VU just plug and play like VU adapter.
