In the old school analog receivers you had Auto focus for the motor so everytime it arrived at the satellite position it tweaked the signal.

Is there some plugin out there for Enigma2 that does the same thing?

Hi,and well

Alignment of dish (mechanically) is most important also with motor.(then usals will work ok)

And fine tuning can be done also manually if something is.....wrong :)

So where do You need autofocus...and why?

You don't use USALS with a 1.8m commercial Channel master dish mate...

Auto focus is needed because the beamwidth on a large dish is so narrow that it's needed.

It seems all satstuff these days are made for small dishes with toy motors.

I have to try finding a old Chaparral Monterey 140 with auto focus then...

Hi

Yes but You did not mention that you have big boys 1.8m dish m8.

And when talking about motor I assume the question was about toy motors.

Yes.."beamwidth on a large dish is so narrow that it's needed" Yes I understand that also.

Still idea is same is it (big prime) or big offset.Dish has to be in orbit and located in correct position. And question is how to locate it...
