Help! Setting up Vu plus Solo 2 to go through a VPN to access icefilms etc.

hey guys 1st post,

I have had this box(vix) for bout 6months now and love it! I am a complete computer novice.
since the ISP(virgin) have blocked ice films etc ive got a VPN subscriptions to private internet access. ive set up PC through it but I have no idea where to start to connect the box up to work through it (will it?).

I see a VPN connection in the network settings on the box but when I go into it keeps coming up with feeds are down for maintenance.

ive read through the How to connect a VPN(by finbarr) and to be honest its a bit over my head.

Anyone know if I am able to set up the VPN at the box? or do I have to learn how to do it the Finbarr way(which I don't think im able to )

VPN is hard to learn. If you want to try you need to update the software on your box - that's why you are getting the "feeds are down for maintenance" message.
