I have downloaded the on demand plugins but BBC iplayer just says there is no content. Can I not watch this through the vu box?

not any more due to changes made by the BBC to eliminate third party applications accessing the iplayer streams.

The Plex 3rd party channel iPlayer works perfectly.

Would it be worth posting the plugin folder here so the relevent details can be extracted ? The contents are all .py files.

That would be handy maxben. I would like to be able to watch bbc programmes on demand without going through my laptop.

I assume that's a yes then.

Where on the box would these files need to go to be able to use BBC iplayer?

they dont, those files are a reference to any one with suitable knowledge to hopefully patch OnDemand's Iplayer. for now there is no change in the status of OnDemand.

Thanks Pheonix, I will leave 'em alone.

He means that the files he posted are meant as a reference only to coders, they are not meant to go on the receiver, and they are not a fix for the OnDemand plugin. for the time being and the foreseeable future the BBCiplayer in the OnDemand player is and will continue to be broken.
