I have an NBC sports Live Extra Account and Premier League Pass account for the EPL matches on a Saturday. I watch the NBC sports on my ipad and mirror to Apple TV which is pretty good, but sometimes it can be a bit buggy. I have PLP account as a back up but can only watch this on my laptop as I have updated my devices to IOS8 - PLP is not compatible with this yet

My question is, can anyone explain to me how I can create a link on my laptop when Im streaming NBC sports or PLP on my laptop, so that I can play it on my vu solo 2 as an IPTV stream

I have came across a site where you can buy an IPTV subscription of lots of sports channels, a file is downloaded and transferred to the enigma receiver and it appears a category in your favourites list

Pretty good, but as I have both accounts already im sure there is a way to configure this for myself.

Anyone point me in the right direction?

you need a vpn. I use smart dns proxy and do a search for premierleaguepass on google when entering your details you need to put you reside in New Zealand and put any New Zealand tel. no. down... 64-******** must be in this format.
you can use your own bank details for this and your email address.

If you have a Samsung smart tv you can reset the smart hub and install the New Zealand apps, you can then have the premier league pass app directly on the TV, obviously you then have to route your tv via a vpn or smart DNS service to actually stream the content.

How did you get the nbc sports app on your I pad pal? Everytime I try it says it's not available because I'm in the UK.

Read the TWO posts directly above yours. I don't mean to appear rude (so please go easy mods) but they both state quite clearly the solution is to use a VPN.

What you have to do is create an usa iTunes account. Use google to find a any USA address and zip code and create the account When creating account you can put any phone number in. Then sign out of your uk account and sign in to your us aaccount. Download the app then just switch back to your uk iTunes account.

You will still need a vpn or smart dns and a login for it to work.

can we get this back on topic please as the original poster, i, and i'm sure others would be interested in the operation of it.
other questions on using those apps should be in a separate thread.

Sorry! Just trying to help. I just replied because the post was under general satellite talk and and discussing NBC sports. I didn't think it was a problem because someone added the word "app" to the end of NBC sports during the thread. But I see where your coming from.

I'm not thick, if it was as easy as using a vpn I would have done so but you are wrong!!

Have you used a USA vpn server, and been logged into a USA iTunes account though?

It's the USA account was where I was failing, so I presume this can be setup online somehow as I already have my UK account set up on my ipad?

I would get the iPad running through the vpn, log the iPad out of your UK account, then create a new USA account at iTunes dot com.

I've always used the same iTunes account.....just changed the country. Did it last season for PLP and StarSports.
