Gents this is my first post here, so please be gentle and have a lil patience..

I want to change the channel list on my 102E which I got off a mate.
I have managed to save the existing channel list in the .abs format
Great so far...
I would like to upload a channel list from here but the format is now .udf
So my question or questions are as follows
Why is the dump in abs format yet peoples channel lists are in udf format and how to i upload a udf to my box via USB stick?

I doubt you'll get much help on a forum for an enigma2 Linux receiver image. Might be better asking on a forum aimed at your receiver.

my receiver is an Ariva (feruson) 102E and I honestly thought this was the correct forum

Your best bet is changing list via box menu, add delete etc. save to usb. These boxes are not great for support and updated list.

You cant use UDF format channel lists. Your best to spend a bit of time following this http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?21069-Ariva-3606-channel-list-editor-guide-English-German-and-Polish or you may end up bricking your box.
