How and what to back up?

Hello

I use Miracle Box Mini HD with Apollo image by Openvix.
Many times when I have upgraded firmwares via feeds/USB it simply wipes out my settings. Some times it does not!! coders.. pay attention here :)

I am not taking any risk next time, so please tell me which files/folders to back up via FTP. Settings like channel settings, favourites, Diseqc settings.

Hi,im sure there is a setting in software update in the menu where you can set to back up all your settings for future updates,sorry not sure whereabouts these settings are via ftp.

You can always backup the channel lists using Dreamboxedit/Dreamset or simlar programs.

The diseqc values are stored in a file that is read and kept in memory. It can be edited but Enigma has to be put to sleep first. It has been mentioned before so no point in repeating here as above statements cover the issue.
