sundtek files??

the mipsel installer file {link below} runs an installer which connects straight to sundtek server and updates latest driver direct from there.

I didnt know that it connected to server to do driver updates

shall i remove my post and amend your post to say that it update the sundtek drivers through the program?

no mate i was just trying to figure out what this file did as maybe of use also? maybe andy might know? but yes the installer i attached in other post downloads direct from sundtek to give latest drivers on installation so maybe this is added as an update to an existing installed file

edit: there is a file called sundtek_installer_vu.sh in sundtek folder on the vu+ where as yours was called pretty much called the same except for development in place of vu+. the one on my vu+ which i only installed last night with beta image is 10,712 kb in size and yours is 10,462kb. ??

it also is good to see from your post that they are now supporting sundtek dvb-s2 usb tuner in dreambox and prob vu+ if i recall reading it correctly
