I have a NOW TV box with plex (£10inc new online) and would like to be able to somehow stream MKV ect.. from my ET9000 STB. Im aware that the plex server software is closed source but is there another way ?
I cant be the only one who would like the availability to watch content stored on my sats hdd from another room, or streamed to my tablet/phone, so please .. can anyone help me on getting this to work.

If you have a PC to do the transcoding then the dreamplex plugin works perfectly for me.

If no PS then the raspberrypi works with xbmc installed running tuxbox, just use instead of the nowtv box. Not as user friendly during setup but much better once all setup imo.
