No such thing. The Vu+ is a HD capable box, supports 1080p.

You can get all the UK HD channels with the plug in cable tuner. But how to do it can't be discussed as it's against forum rules.

UK cable uses mpeg2 for SD and HD hence the simple cable tuner handles both, where as satellite broadcasts tend to use mpeg2 for SD and mpeg4 for HD.

Ѕky has been using mpeg4 for HD since it started.

Simple satellite tuners have had no problem handling both mpeg2 & mpeg4 for years.

Just as a note to this Samsung v+ boxes and TiVo boxes are MP4 compliant, the only reason VM still use mpeg2 is because of the amount of scientific Atlanta v+ boxes still out there, this will change in the future, whether we will need new tuners then I am not sure.
