Having just updated to Openvix Apollo 095 from Openvix-HD 090, my Duo2 was running fine on the default Vix-Night-HD with instant channel changing and remote response

after noticing that the feeds where back I immediately loaded in YouVix -Green as I realy liked that in the HD version of Vix but I noticed that it was taking about 4 to 5 seconds for the channel or volume to change and trying to get in to the menu was a hit and miss affair, it was something like the problem we had with Apollo build 25
I fitted new Battery's in the remote just in case it was discharged Battery's but it made no difference

so I reloaded Vix-Night-HD Back in and my Duo2 Reverted back to the flying machine it used to be with instant response and channel changes

I will load green on later on and have a look.

Noticed the same this morning on my Duo2.

I installed htop and monitored the cpu. Enigma was taking up all the cpu basically.

Switched back to MetrixHD, and all is good again in the world.

Just to add to this thread I have the same problem on my Mut@nt HD2400.

This is with blue, didn't try other colours.

Ok weird. Can you all enable debug logs and change to youvix and do a few things and then upload the log.

Well, I've just done a fresh install without restoring

Downloaded YouVix-blue but instead of just restarting GUI when asked I did a full reboot and now the problem has gone away.

'top' is not showing anything unusual.

thanks

I reloaded YouVix-Green back in like you asked rossi and it's still the same pressing the menu button still took about 4 to 5 seconds to respond and once in say the menu or TV list when you hold the button to scroll up or down the cursor bar dose not stop when you let go, it keeps going and and even skips a random number of channels it could be 3/4/10 or even more, you have to press the button each time to scroll up or down, playing recordings seems to work fine but time-shift seems to have problems,it takes ages go get out of once it's running, the record function seems fine I was able to set off 11 recordings before running out of transponders

38915 38916 38919

I also tried the other YouVix skins red/blue and purple and they where the same really sluggish to respond I even checked to see if anything showed up in the logs but their was nothing

I will stay with YouVix Red tonight and see if anything shows up - almost forgot I also switched off and pulled the plug for half an hour but it was still the same

I hope this helps

tbh it sounds like an issue that happened with Red-HD.

Displaying (time to display) G-EPG is very much dependant on your settings. So you can only compare this on the same box with the same settings, and just change the skin. I'm pretty sure the skin in use will make no difference.

There has only been lag on this since updating to Apollo #95, all settings are exactly the same.

There was lag on all menus / EGPs etc. before I replaced the You-Vix skin with the amended version in the .rar posted by Rossi above and now only the G-EPG, which would indicate something in the skin rather than settings unless default settings have changed as part of the #95 update.

Cheers rossi it worked a treat  I would have got back to you sooner but I could not delete the original YouVix-common file and had to rename it to get the new one to work
I reverted back to Vix-Night-HD just to compare them both and all is good well done mate :D

Hi Rossi - yes just upgraded to -05 with YouVix Blue and had same problem as in posts above. Eventually worked out how to get the .rar file installed - is there a "unrar" command on the builds? (I had to use a WINZIP on PC and WINSCP it up - was in a hurry and didn't try all unzip/gunzip options) Anyway now working. Will get next build to have the .rar included. Great I got the YouVix interface back again with standardised build

yes these updates will all be ok on the next online update.
