abm and cross epg location query

hi i have got a problem with my epg location in abm and cross epg.
i have a vu duo running apollo 89.
i seem to not be able to store my abm epg on a external usb stick. (abm will not give the option for this where as cross epg will give the option.)
eg.. abm settings/epg location/ internal flash or hdd
crossepg/internal flash or external usb
cant seem to figure this one out for myself, so if any one could help i would be very greatful. thanks

ABM's scans are system files and as such should only be saved to /etc/enigma2/ like all other bouquet packs do. you should never be given the option to change this and should not try to either.

EPG on the other hand should only be saved to a HDD or USB stick and never to the receivers flash as it is easily corrupted and once corrupted can grow very large very fast, this in turn would fill the flash requiring you to reflash the image to fix as the receiver would no longer boot.

sorry i have just realised that i am asking the wrong question (stupid ass me). i was looking in the wrong section on my vu+. it is the actual epg and the cross epg file location that i am having the problem with.:confused:

ABM only does channels/bouquets. It does not do EPG.

No need to worry about it.
