Miraclebox mini not updating or plugins

I cant get my Miraclebox running latest VIX to update or download plugins . For a week it's been saying server down, Is that right ?

Do a settings backup and a flash via usb as you are on a old build.

I did that not that long ago, why do I have to keep doing a full flash as apposed to an update ?
