Will it benefit you to say how this happened?
Will it benefit you to say what you have tried so far?

Dear Abu

1: I think during some updates
2: have tried to flash with images using fat 32 hp tool, but no luck.

Can I flash using any other route than USB?

thanks Abu

What size USB stick have you used?
Have you tried a different one?

Dear Abu

Yes. Kingston, but no luck
What do those logs tell anyway?

Can i flash using rs 232 or tftp

thanks

I dont know about the logs, so cannot help with that.

I did not ask what brand, I asked what size?

Have you tried disconnecting all cables apart from power and display cable? If HDD is attached, disconnecting that as well?

2 gb, 1 gb.

No one wants to comment on any other route than USB?
I am comfortable going the serial port route.

There is no other way to flash than with a USB stick in your current situation. if you could boot into the image you could use the built in image manager but as you can't do that you have to use a USB stick

I see, then why is the RS 232 port built in?

What all options can I try with USB then?

WOS retailer, not responding to any communiques, is there a way you guys could please help?

Larry-G

the RS232 port is primarily for debugging. PM the sponsor via the forum and he will get back to you as soon as he sees it.

OK, Got it going for now.
Tuner A= Diseqc 19.2 e and 4.8 e
Tuner B: 28.2 directly connected. No diseqc.

Any ideas why the official firmware by Mb tunes the Tuner A like a charm, but the Openvix 89 does not tune tuner A at all? It says no satellite found.

Possible bug folks?
plz advice
TIA

Dear Abu,

Thanks. If you reverse the configuration, ie swap wires and also the configuration, is it the same?
