View Full Version : Viasat HD on VU+ DUO
If I use a Viasat card with Viasat HD subscription, will I be able to see Viasat HD
on my VU+ DUO (VIX 1.2)?
What encryption do they use?

No, only SD channels.
I thought that one of the cams (maybe oscam) had managed to get around the hd encryption?
As i hear there is some unpublic emu (think newcs) with which works HD channels too - but as I said it is unpublic.
There is no hack for Visat HD and as usual when there isnt a lot of pepole claiming there is.Viasat is using chip pairing on their HD boxes. And as its NDS SKYIT and UK will proberbly do the same in time if it isnt hacked soon.

this subject always pops up, and has done for several years, with the same predictions
Your right Baz, there was a similar post on Avf. case Lara case lara
I have an official SlyHD sub in an official Thomson HD box, I have no intention of upgrading my box, even if sly offer it as I need the component output on my Thomson. I would imagine this will only affect new subscriptions.
