Hi guys, just bought a nano today and it came with Openpli on it and not Vix as I had asked for, no big deal really. I downloaded the latest version of Vix 079 on to a brand new USB stick, stuck it in front slot and the receivers said it was starting, but it never did.
After a few attempts at reflashing, I tried to start the receiver with Openpli but even that couldn't get past the "Starting_ _ _" message.
No other USB device was plugged in, other than when I
tried to flash the box, and no sata hdd either.
Does anyone have any ideas.
Thanks

Can you double check exactly what receiver you have. Naming convention is peculiar.
What is the name of the image you downloaded. (ties in with above)
What image did you have prior to attemotiung to flash (if you can remember)?

Evening Abu, the model is the TM-NANO-2T, it came with Openpli on (sorry Abu, never paid any heed to the version as I was changing to Vix)
The version of Vix that I tried to flash was Apollo 079
FYI the receiver did boot up first time out of the box, but buttons like the menu button didn't seem to be able to access any menus, I had a look at image for about 5 mins then I decided to reflash to Vix

It is quite possible that the receiver had an older bootloader.

Delete the update folder from USB flash drive

Download the latest bootloader from here
http://openvix.co.uk/index.php?dir=Bootloaders/Technomate-Bootloaders/TM-Nano-2T/

Extract and transfer to USB flash drive

Flash bootloader and leave receiver off after flashing is completed

Delete the update folder from USB stick

Transfer latest image to USB stick and then flash it

Thanks Abu, will try that tomorrow, and will let you know the outcome.

Hi guys. I followed Abu's instruction to flash the latest bootloader, and all went fine.
I then flashed the very latest Vix image, the Nano seemed to accept the flash, then it told me that it was finished and to reboot the box.
On reboot, once more it couldn't get past the "starting_ _ _" screen on the box.
I will try again later, as I really don't want to return the box to WOS, if I can get it working.
Any suggestions are welcome
Thanks guys

Morning guys,
Just a quick note to thank WOS for resolving my problem with the receiver quickly and professionally.
Thanks again
