remote control

hi guys just got my box and still exploring
got a couple questions about the remote
the is a headphone plug on the remote how can i use that?? i plug some headphone to it and nothing happened....
2 question is on my old box tm twin i could operate the tv with the tm remote ie switch on and off etc
can i do the same with the remote from the mut@nt?
if so how? cause i look at the book that come with the box and doesnt say .

so faw im very happy with the box very fast box well worth the money :)

The Mutant is soon going to have an optional qwerty remote, both remotes share the same casing hence the heaphone port. On the standard remote it is not enabled.

The HD2400 does not come with a universal remote to operate TV, I'd go for a logitech Harmony remote. One thing to note, the HD2400 remote is re-chargeable. If you update to latest build 078 you can program the F keys and context buttons to do certain features in button setup.

Yep agree, awesome box. I replaced my Duo2 with one of these.

in the end i took your advise and got a logitech harmony touch :D
very impressed so far with the box and the the remote.... only downside on the remote you can only have one satelite favories :( either astra or hispasat ... surely they could come with update so you can choose more than one server list ....
