Hi all

My box came reconfigured with every satellite on the planet and obviously I do not use them as only need 28.2e for UK sky, is their a fast way to delete all the ones I do not use or do I have to do them individually

I do use a auto bouquet but that hasn't deleted the ones I do not use - I thought it might of done

I use the Blackhole image

The easiest way would be to delete them all including 28.2 east and start again.

use the following telnet command will do the above, then rerun your autobouquet plugin.

init 4 && rm -rf /etc/enigma2/lamedb && rm -rf /etc/enigma2/*.tv && rm -rf /etc/enigma2/*.radio && init 3

just to make sure

every UK sky channel uses 28.2e is that correct? or are any of them on another satellite?

sky uk only transmits from the 28.2 east position, that does not mean that other English channels can not be found on other satellites, but if its only sky uk / freesat you want then its 28.2 east you need.

ok thank you, removing all the satelittes that I don't use,

would this increase performance of the box at all or would it not make a difference

Should not really make a difference performance wise. The solo2 is a pretty powerful beast. That said if you can't view those satellites for what ever reason, it's a bit pointless to have them in your setup.
