Alter initial splash screen

Some time ago I decided to try Blackhole, more out of curiosity than anything else. I found I preferred VIX and flashed back. However ever since the initial splash screen displays Blackhole and a graphic. How do I get rid of this as I want nothing to do with blackhole?

Reflash the bootloader then flash vix.

It's not the bootloader, when you download a clean image from www.openvix.co.uk look inside and you should see a file called splash.bat or something similar (sorry if it's inaccurate I am working from memory here). delete all other files from the image folder but this splash file and flash it via a USB stick as you would any ordinary image (make sure you preserve the file structure).

A backup image will be no good for this is at does not backup the splash screen.
