reset to switch box on again

back with same problem as before remote wont power on box from standby in the morning as i reflashed to apollo 54 a little while ago and that worked for a while,no epg setup to download and switched abm scan off yesterday to rule it out,only pluggin on box tsmedia and samba and running oh forgot the swap file.
if i could be so bold to ask about external hdd hookup to box to play recordings made from another box would i need a media player to play unknown format?:confused:

switched abm off to not update and box has powered on every day since,but accessing recordings puts the box into error mode so going to reflash to a later image.:thumbsup:

I upgraded to the new Vix HD on my Duo2 it's very good I really like it and I think that it is now compatible with your VU+Solo you could give that a try :D

Just checked and it is in the feeds for the Solo and all other VU+ receivers
