Somewhere else on this forum I commented a few days ago that my User Interface positioning had gone awry, and that trying to move it back had no effect (although the opacity could be changed).

I've now been able to reproduce this, and find a way to stop it happening (at least for the circumstances that I had set-up). It might be of interest to others.

I'd set my A/V setting refresh rate to me "multi".

And what I found was that if I played a down-loaded mp4 file that was written at 30fps (well, 29.970), then after a brief glimpse the screen seemed to reset, and from then on the User Interface was incorrectly positioned. (A GUI restart could fix this.)

If I set the A/V refresh rate to just be 50Hz then the "reset" doesn't happen and all remains OK with the User Interface positioning.
