Is my box a doorstop
I tried to upgrade to the latest vix yesterday
From a online backup (I think it was .51 but the latest realise )
Had helix installed previously now all I ve got is a black screen and starting on front panal
I ve tried a re flash but nothing changes
I ve read somewhere that solo 2 doesn't need a new bootloader is that correct

Hi,
no bootloader required. When you see starting did you press menu or channel up/down? The behavior you describe is also common for a start without a channel list.

Try to install new channel list.

Have you tried putting the new image on a USB stick and upgrading through the USB stick method.

Reflash ing using USB. If you have no look then possible clone. There's no image called heluz

I ve tried re flashing useing a scan disk pen drive formatted to fat 32 but I did it on my mac
And I've read somewhere that can cause problems with pen drives going to use a windows laptop to format pen drive and put the files on see if that works makes a difference

Deffo not a clone m8 was brought last year from world of sats shop
Helix it's a typo predictive text lol
