Magic eye don't work with these boxes. You are better off using Ethernet over HDMI, miles better than any rf/magic eye.

That is the omnilink and it will work fine for you. It is very similar to the Sky magic eye system, but needs a power supply (supplied) and you will also need to get an RF converter (an extra purchase) to feed an AV signal into the omnilink. So all in quite an expense - there might be cheaper methods of achieving same result.

As to your question about replacing multiroom. Methods that can be discussed here - it's not possible with the Solo. Even if you went for a Solo2, your Sky card won't work fully as it will have been paired with you Sky box.

You can buy a cheap Android box install vu+ player app and stream to it from your receiver (make sure you buy a twin tuners receiver so you can still watch something on the receiver at the same time.
