hi
press menu/setup/service searching and do a manual scan
frequency:12304.00MHz
pol.H
DVB-S
SR:27500
FEC:2/3

then exit out of menus.
press up arrow and press green for sats.
scroll down to 28.2 (services)
scroll down to nat geo
press menu when you find it and add to service bouquet
then select bouquet you wish to add it and will be placed in it at bottom

hope this helps mate

ahhhhh now i know what your issue is

have you downloaded a new satellites.xml latest and then done a full rescan to update the actual box itself so the bouquets can see the new frequesncies within the bouquet

place satellites.xml in usr/tuxbox do a full scan and it will show up

i dont understand that sorry... are we talkign about epg now? i only have ryvix epg selected i have disabled cross epg?
where do i get the satelites.xml file from?

silverfox0786
26-11-10, 01:12
not not epg

un rar and put this file in usr/tuxbox replacing old file then rescan your the satellite on 28.2
this is assuming you have a fixed dish on 28.2e

if you have a motor setting its a bit different

if you have a motorised setting you can upload the attached file to etc/tuxbox. it is the most recent for motorised.

ps obviously unzip it first :)

the sat.xml is a transponder listing in xml format used for scanning sats like the old days of non linux when you keyed in all the freqs manually now they are in a file then you just perform a scan the sat.xml file is kept upto date on a daily basis but without it a frequency not scanned wont show on the box regardless of if its in bouquet or not

in ITV region sub bouquet on my set pick the ITV channel that are at the bottom just befor the itv hd are yorkshire the last itv is yorkshire west and the one above it is yourkshire east
choose the one you want and replace it with 103

if you have already ftped the channel list then its fine the channels will show up after scan just be sure to reboot box after it

update the satellites.xml file
rescan the the satellite using automatic scan making sure the clear before scan is ticked
and then upload the new bouquets and restart

Hi mate if its same issue as me with this. Extract the rar file I attached earlier. ftp it to etc/tuxbox.
If you have fixed satellitte feed for sky Try going to menu/service searching and for this tuner select simple then under that select tonebust and select 28.2 east and 28.5 east

boywonder786
26-11-10, 02:45

Are you sure you are using silver's latest channel settings as the fequency for the channels you mentioned changed only 2 days ago?and reloading enigma after ftp from dbedit? Other than everything silverfox has stated ithere is not much more I could add. Am def off to bed now as am half asleep writing this :). Best of luck with it
