Myslef and friends, are still running OpenViX 3.0 and would really like to update to helios. Does helios natively support Transmission or does an updated version of Transmission need to be built from source code.
The sourse is easily downloadable, but not being a programmer i dont know where to start. Im happy to give it go, but ill require an idiots guide :confused:

source code> {https://transmission.cachefly.net/transmission-2.84.tar.xz}

INFO> {https://trac.transmissionbt.com/wiki/Building}

When Vix moved on from the 3.0 image transmission didn't work on the early images but I remember it working on one of the later releases, not sure which though. I think Helios is now gone too and Apollo is the latest image btw :)

All that reading i did yesterday thinking Helios was the latest o/s, only to discover that its "Starbuck".. i mean "Apollo" :rolleyes:
With the new skin from Rossi (Great skin mate) and all the updated features, all thats missing for me, & others, would be Transmission or something similar.
Seame, Does Transmission work with Apollo, and/or is it even in the feeds?

It's been so long since I even looked at a torrent client, I honestly have no idea.

Yup, should i be having issues?
I use it daily, never had a problem.

When we rely on users to update and report any issues found? :confused:
