Software update shows (1 updated package available) constantly. 1. View the changes = blank.

Upgrade and reboot does not clear upgrade package available.

Am I missing something obvious to a clearer minded Vixer?

Telnet following command

opkg list-upgradable

Got same problem after upgrade to solo2. It hung rebooting after the update but power cycle fixed that. opkg list-upgradable returns nothing at all, just back to command prompt.

Easy fix: make a settingsbackup, flash build 41 via ImageManager and restore settings & plugins during the First Install Wizard.
I just did the same; 6 minutes 'work' and all is fine again.

Well that didn't work out too well. On trying to restore settings backup after flash it looped on "background check in progress". Power cycled and tried restore only to get feeds are down for maintenance. Going to bed, will try in the morning (NZ time).

Then it looks like there is a network issue. When no internet is available, this backgroundcheck can take some time.
You flashed build 041 I hope?

Edit: it seems to be the same issue as in this thread (http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?40914-Vix-041-error&p=314963&viewfull=1#post314963). So the same solution can be applied.

Telnet did not work for me either. I'm just going to ignore it till I have to inevitably flash for some other issue.

Removing ocram-feed.conf did the trick
