View Full Version : Vu running massive amounts of data through router

Hey guys any of you ever had the problem of your box running massive amounts of data it cam e to a head tonight for me where I could not even connect to the net due to the box running so much data to solve it I simply stopped the MGcam and then restarted it never seen this before any one else seen it??

hmm wonder if somebody else is controlling your box via streaming,think pheonix answered a post similar to this?

You may be using configs for Mgcamd that are logging to an IP address that does not exist..

There were links to two copies in the thread just below the one you started. Try these to read card in your receiver

It sounds like a improperly setup MGcam, basically it's trying to connect to a none existent ip address and as a result ends up DDOS'ing it self. I cant remember the exact part of the Config file to edit to remove this but there are clean ones available on the forum posted by Abu baniaz and Mr.mister.

Cheers guys will have a look at this and try some different ones although think I used mr misters when setting up the other day thanks

MGcam 3.5a is what I use my self without any issues or problems.
