Who's getting an iPhone 6 tomorrow on launch day?

Couldn't resist, had iPhones, since the iPhone 3 model, getting my iPhone 6 delivered tomorrow from EE :D

Nearly moved over to Android, but got so many paid for iPhone apps decided against it, also use the same apps on my iPad.

Anyone else getting one delivered tomorrow?

Anyone looking for value - I have noticed a 5.7 inch android with two slots on Ideal World shopping Channel for £130 I quite liked the 6 inch white one there other day

Also had my eye on a really super Sony T2 6 inch model which has recently dropped to £239 on the Sony Mobile website - I think they are having problems selling it because at 6 inches it is quite big -(lovely though if size is a plus) also its (too well) well hidden away on a dark link to their website - probably because they prefer to sell the same but dearer models

Btw Apple have got lots of trips and traps to lock you into staying with them - and the £200 cost of an upgrade doesn't sound much until you realise that with contract costs its costing nearer £500 a year

This is much more than buying an android phone for say between £60 and say £250 and habving PAYG with for instance roughly £10 a month - Asda mobile Internet for example is currently £5 a month

Overall as a retired tech guy I would say there are a lot of pitfalls out there for unsuspecting punters including not being able to move software and media eg music off the Apple platform and Apple limitations such as no additional storage slots no Windows PC compatibility or connect ability no standard film and music file compatibility no battery swaps and the apple prices are craxxy

For example my super Samsung 8" tablet cost £137 - I saw the identical APlle alternative in PC WOrld yesterday and it was £399 - do people really think they are gewtting three times the value? : ))

Always used Android and love my S5, the Mrs though has an S4 and never really got on with it so has the 6 plus on order, can't see it will arrive tomorrow though.

Galaxy Alpha is a much better option Imo, unfortunately I can't upgrade until next February so unless there is a second edition Bourne by then this is what I'll be getting. I think apple is too restricted and so many apps have to be paid for unlike Android.

I'm current running a OnePlus One (invite only phone) as my daily driver and also a Nokia 1020 when I want to be mobile and take pics :-)

Both are great phones, One running Android and the other Windows OS.

I will by an Iphone6 but most likely as an upgrade for my Wife's Iphone4S (they are not for me, however I can understand how people can like them).

My wife is the perfect market for an Iphone, I had previously brought her an S4 and she thought it too complex an OS, so I said I would get her a phone with only one button and now she couldn't be happier.

Personally I find it amazing that any one here would willingly use a Iphone, after all this forum is dedicated to opensource images and receivers that can be infinitely customized, the total 100 percent polar opposite of every thing Apple stand for.

Jailbroken IOS was great for me. Loved the tweaks from Cydia. But JB'ing got a little more difficult on newer devices. I got tired of fighting to get my iPhone working to my liking and switched to Android. Haven't looked back. Have every feature I want easily. However, my wife keeps things simple so IOS suits her. Still though, crazy money.

Just got a mail from Apple as the ip6 is on release in Ireland today. Followed through to their site from curiosity and - F*k me sideways - 999 Euro for the 128gb plus!! Talk about rip off.
