Hoping someone can help. I've downloaded the ocram hd.blue-black picon pack. Everything works fine but for some reason the Sky Sports 5 picon doesn't show. I know its in the pack, i checked, but it just doesn't show. Anyone have this problem or know how to fix it?

The picons should be name one of those three depending on your location.

Make copies and rename to correct name. While on channel you can check by pressing
Menu > Information > Service

Thanks for the help abu baniaz.

Service reference is 1:0:1:520:7EA:2:11A0000:0:0:0::4.

So i copied and pasted '1_0_1_520_7EA_2_11A0000_0_0_0_4.png' and '1_0_1_520_7EA_2_11A0000_0_0_0__4.png' to picon folder but no joy unfortunately.

Frustrating as hell:mad:

rename to
1_0_1_520_7EA_2_11A0000_0_0_0.png

There were some changes to service info details, probably why the other bits got added.

Didn't work. Does it matter that i haven't removed the versions i've just tried?

Picons with name not matching service reference are not shown. But if you are worried delete the one with the 4.

Have you tried changing channel and back/restarting receiver?

Yeah tried restarting but when i plug in the USB the other channels immediately recognise the picons.

I tried 1_0_1_520_7EA_2_11A0000_0_0_04.png on a whim to no avail too.

I got a new box and has this issue also, Im in Ireland too btw.. I just made a note of the service reference for sky sports 5 when watching the channel, copied the picon folder from receiver to my desktop via filezilla so i could quickly find the sky sports5 picon.. In my case the picon for sky sports 5 did not match my service reference so I just located it on my desktop, renamed it to the service reference so that the box can correctly identify the picon to be used for the channel in question, then i just ftp back to the picon folder on my receiver and works a charm now.. hope it helps :)

Thats weird.

Steo is your service ID '1:0:1:520:7EA:2:11A0000:0:0:0::4' like mine? If so, can i ask you what name you gave png file to make it work.

Yes my service is the number you listed above... The reason ss5 isnt showing is because the ss5 picon in the ocram pack is named service ''1_0_1_517_7DB_2_11A0000_0_0_0.png''

You need to find this file (located a bit more than half way down ) in the picon folder of your receiver, just use filezilla or another ftp to navigate to it,when found just rename that png file so its identical to the service id of ss5 which is '1:0:1:520:7EA:2:11A0000:0:0:0::4'

hope that helps

Thanks Steo. I tried '1_0_1_520_7EA_2_11A0000_0_0_0_4.png' and '1_0_1_520_7EA_2_11A0000_0_0_0__4.png' but neither worked. Makes no sense.

Not to worry its only one not working. I can live with that.

Did you open the png file from the receiver picon folder, before you edit the name of it to make sure its actually the sky sports 5 png file picon you are editing?

When you know its the correct picon for ss5,just edit and and paste this ''1_0_1_520_7EA_2_11A0000_0_0_0.png'' without the inverted commas..hopefully that will sort it...
