guys i need a quick fix for this. i decided to take out the tuner b wire. i put it back in now i cannot record and watch another channel.i can record but have to watch the same channel. before i could watch and record different channels. i have done this before a few times and i have fixed it by messing abt with the settings . but i need the correct way to sort this out.i can sort it out if i flash again but i want to aviod that because it does take abit of time.my custom setting are tuner a. not tuner b or automatic i prefer it like this. i like to have my motorised in tuner a . tuner b is my sky mini dish. i have in past had this problem and i have sorted it by messing abt the tuners in the customise setup. im using a vu solo 2 vix 030 build with a 500gb harddisk.

If it was working fine before you disconnected the cable but will not work now that you have Re-Connected it
it must be down to F plug not being attached properly on the end of your cable it is an easy thing to fix if you know what you are doing

got you now I thought it was just your cable I am not very clued up on motorized but if you had done a back up of your settings just load them in and you will get them back even saving them on a USB Memory stick can save you lots of headaches

No not working I've done a flash to the new image but my back up is from 023build and I cannot do anything till the feedsare up and running. I've noticed I can record to 2 differnet channels. But I can't record 1 channel and watch another .

What I meant was if you had a back up of when your Solo2 was working properly, you could load that image and backup on to your Solo2
and then you could see what your settings where, you could even take photos of your settings so that you can set the tuners up just as you had them on your old working image
I hope that makes sense

Please describe what your physical dish/lnb/cabling is.

Post screenshots of what each tuner is set as.

Menu > setup> service searching > sat finder. What signal levels do you get for tuner b? ( scroll left right to select tuner) Are you sure f plug is connected properly? People normally unscrew it instead of pulling it out.

Which cam are you using? Include version number.

Are you sure those are your positioner co-ordinates, they look a lot like the default ones...
If that is indeed your location maybe you cant get a good signal because of the over pass with all those railway lines lol.

36999 yes the f plug is connected properly. when I said I pulled it out I did actually screw it off and screw it on. the reason I took it off was to check another box. im sorry I don't understand you when you asked what can am I using and you wanted a version number. if your asking for kernel its 3.13.5

my positioner co-ordinates have always been 000.100 west 051500 . the default ones are similar but not the same. im an in the uk. if your are in the uk what is your positioning I will try them. but you said my location maybe I cant get good signal because of railway line, that is not the case. it was fine before I decided to another box so I used the tuner b cable. which now I regret

Well that's about 4 people up to now that have had problems with no signal on 1 tuner but had no problem with the other tuner and they where all using ccam 2.2.1
I think we know what to ask next time and save a week :D

I've noticed that only 2.3.0 works now, even if you download 2.2.1 (or whatever it,s called) from feeds
