spinning vix after channel switch

after installation of apollo 29 i often see the spinning vix busy for a while after switching channels. this did not happen with zeus. any fix for that?

just a thought but where are you storing your picons?

I had a similar issue on a Vu Duo. A way to prevent this was to enable PTS or have the timeshift location set for a USB stick.

Neither an ideal solution but best I could find..

@beermat: you know what: that could be it. after i installed apollo 29 from scratch i didn't install picons at all. but i had a /hdd/picon backup... and for some reason e2 seems to have found and used that.
i have now copied the picons to flash /picon and renamed the the directory on hdd.
