Can you explain a bit more about these flying lnbs? Would also help to see your current tuner configuration.

As I understand it, having looked at your signature, you have four cables going to four tuners.
The two from the 28.2 lnbs should be set as: simple, single, 28.2
Each of the motorised should be set as: simple, positioner with your co-ordinates entered.

 so in other words you have 2 fixed tuners set at 28.2E and 2 tuners set up for a Motorised Dish - so you have 2 Dishes 1 fixed and 1 motor
abu this is one for you :D

I read that as three dishes.
Two motorised dishes with single LNBs.
1 fixed dish at 28.2 with multiple outputs. You would treat each port of a multi-port lnb separately anyway.

Hi and thank you for your suggestion. I have tried your config as follows, 28 deg on lnb 1 and 2 and motorised on 3 and 4 and vice-versa, struggling with auto scan so trying manual config...thought it would be easier, never is!lol :)

tried it again and some success....1st config...lnb 1 and 2 fixed, 2 and 3 motorised, goto tuner 3 (c) and blind scan channels in...yay :) ...so will i be able to keep recordings running on 28 degrees whilst surfing around on the other two??...thx again :)

sorry yes, two dish setup, realised my signature o.o.date...my bad. anyways, it knocked out my recording from happening back on dish 1 with lnb 1 and 2 on 28 deg..whilst i was setting up channels etc on dish two lnb 3 and 4....frustrating as hoping to get it working so that my autotimers will continue to work whilst i can motor around the heavens! :)

If you have not set it to match what is there, you will have issues later.

You said you had two motorised dishes and another for 28.2. That makes three. You have now said you have two dishes.

Leaving aside the tuner configuration, describe how many dishes you have, what lnb on each dish, and where each cable from each lnb port goes.

hi Abu, sorry for vagueness..okay, 2 dishes Dish 1 fixed sky dish poiting at 28 deg, twin lnb feed to vuduo2 a and b tuner. "nd dish, 80cm motorised usals, twin feed lnbs going to tuner c and d of vuduo2. a and b set to simple etc and c and d set to positioner, with long, lat etc....really hopes this helps as when i was using tuner c and d last night, having a look at 1 dew w and 19 deg e etc, the recordings on tuner a and b did not record ):

Just noticed that you are running Zeus why not try it with the latest Apollo 30 Image, OK you will have to do a Full Clean Flash Without any Backups but it might run better on the newer Image just a thought as their have been a lot of improvements done to the vix image since they first released Zeus :D

Some quads are still having issues with Apollo images at the moment, mine included. I would stick with Zeus at the moment

Their are no such problems with the Duo2 that would stop him using the latest Apollo image and the Problems being experienced with the GBQ Receivers are solely to do with them :) and my Duo2 and LX3 Receivers are Running perfectly stable with Apollo 30 and with 28 and 29 before that

Does not matter which image is being used, tuner config will be the same.

For the tuner connected to the motorised setup, the one that goes directly to lnb, (not to the motor). You have to set as "second cable of motorised lnb".
