Display settings greater than 16:9

The display settings are greater than 16:9,there for I am missing parts of the sides of the menu when I bring them up.I have gone into av settings but can't seem to change to 16:9,I am using VIX image:confused:

Sure its not your tv aspect you need to change, on the TV itself?
If you had a box setting wrong i can see it might look stretched but not off the screen.

menu>setup>vix>skin settings then adjust menu overscan amount - once adjusted press green to save
