Different keys for recordings & timeshift fast forward and rewind

for recordings you can use the left/right keys for fast rewind/forward. those keys don't work for timeshift.
wouldn't it make sense to make that consistent? I'm always pressing the wrong keys when in timeshift.

it's been a year and no fix. tried to customize keys in settings but was not able to. is there a way to change fast forward/rewind for timeshift?
