Ftp to box

Hi guys, I'm trying to connect to my vu+duo using FlshFXP which i have used in the past. I have come to use this program and selected a previous session so all the setting where as the same as i succesfully connected last time but it wont have it.

This is a second hand box is it likely the the previous owner could connect to my box still as i have not changed any passwords??

Bit of a newby at this so if you could dumb down your replies that would be great.

Also if i need to change the passwords how do i do that now i cant connect to my box through the FTP program?
