sorting files names media on network

Hi I am running apollo 026 on a tm-2t and streaming files from nfs network shares. I can not seem to get the names sorted alphabetically. When I press the blue sort button the icon changes to A-Z briefly but nothing seems to happen.

Can anyone advise please.

I see in another thread someone mention a plugin mediaplayers2 and I gave it a try. It installed fine and seems to work although a bit fiddly but looks promising. The sorting is perfect though which is what I want.
