Makes no real difference to be honest. I have drives mounted facing up and down.

what size Hard Drive are you fitting as it will take either a 2.5" or a 3.5" Drive I have a 2.5" fitted to mine with an adapter plate but a 2.5" will fit without one I have also tried my 3.5" 3TB Drive from my Duo2 and that worked fine so it will take up to 3TB without problem here are some pics of mine in the LX3

That will be fine as I think that it runs at 5500rpm so will run cooler a 7200rpm will also work but speed is not really necessary

5500 speed is also quieter which is also important in a PVR. The 2.5" drives are even quieter than the 3.5" - I can't hear the one in my Quad+ unless I'm directly beside it, plus no fan noise either!

Hello Stanman I tried taking a few with my S3 they turned out Ok-ish
the shot of the Screen on its own was taken with No flash and in candle light mode I also took one of my Duo2 so you can see the difference
the screens will still be set in their Default settings as I have not changed them since loading 26 in
the last pic is the Duo2 display the LX3's is much clearer a very nice display and it has no halo it's about 3 inches by about 1 and a half
ps/ excuse the Dust lol
