Hi all. im new to all this and iv just recieved my vu+ solo2 box today.

Iv heard you can stream the channels from the box to your PC, but i cannot find a guide of how i can do this. so i have 3 questions if people could answer and help me

1. can anybody give me a step by step?

2. can i set it up so i can watch via windows media player or cyberlink power DVD

3. of course the box has two tuners, so i can watch one channel and record another on my box, but what happens if i want to watch something on my pc, does that change the channel over on the box or stop anything recording or can i watch a different channel on my PC then whats on the box

Use the inbuilt OpenWebif, with your browser, go to the IP of the box.
Expand one of your bouquets & you'll see a streaming & transcoding link (TV icons) to the right of each channel.
VLC might be better for playing the stream.
If only one tuner is being used on the box at the time, the stream will use the other tuner.

Openwebif is a plugin, hold down blue button on remote and you can see it
