printer problems

hi, can anyone help please I'am having problems with my printer, I'am not able to print of my laptop but can from my phone the printer is a epsom xp-215 which worked fine till my son came down to print some tickets off the next time I come to use it it dose'nt work, its showing up on my laptop as ready when I try to print it shows print error oh my operating system is windows 8. thanks for any replys

hi pheonix , no there was'nt any code windows just said printing error, I have managed to get it working though by removing the printer off my laptop then reloading it again it seems to be working fine now thanks anyway.
