Hi, I have added some data to my usr/keys folder, but I am getting the attached error message and don't know why?

'No config files found, please set up MGcamd first in /var/keys'

But I thought I'd added the data?
Can anyone offer any advice please? As you may be able to tell I am new to all this!
Thank you.

Is your config file called mg_cfg?
This is what you need to place in /usr/keys/ if using ViX?

Hi, no what I think is my config file is called CCcam.cfg.txt is that the file that you mean? And if so do I need to change the name of that file to mg_cfg.txt or mg.cfg.txt?

You say in the first post you're trying to use Mgcamd. Your config file for this should be called mg_cfg - no .txt at the end.

On my computer the file is called CCcam.cfg it only has a .txt on the end when I view it in my 'Dreambox control centre'. So if I try and change the name of this file to just mg_cfg and give that a go, you think that may solve the problem?

Or do you mean my file that is newcamd.list?

CCcam.cfg is a config file for CCcam, a different cam.
I'd suggest you do some reading up on the forums for what you actually want to do.

Apologies, I am totally new to this and not sure what I am doing, hence me asking on this forum. 1 last question then, are you saying my file currently called newcamd.lst actually needs to be called mg_cfg?

Have a read of this post (http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?25608-MGCAMd&p=220180&viewfull=1#post220180), it should help you.
